A. Definition Of Caption :

   Caption text is a short text that is used to complete an image. Caption text appears usually under pictures, photos, graphics, posters and even tables.

B. Sosial Function Of Caption :

   Describe, comment on pictures, photos, tables, graphs, charts

C. Structure Of caption :

• The title

• The lead

• Section Heading

D. Language Features Of Caption :

> Prepositional phrases. 

> Infinitive -phrases. 

> Participial phrases. 

> Adjective phrases. 

> Questions. 

> Exclamations. 

E. How to Write Captions?

~ Observe the selected photo or video. 

~ Find out the message from the picture. 

~ Write concise phrase or sentence under the picture.
